Services and Rates
All of our services are based on a sliding scale, meaning that everyne should pay us a similar percentage of their income for services. Therefore, those who face greater economic hardship pay less, while those with more economic opportunities pay more. Please read more about our sliding scale policy and download our Sliding Scale Worksheet and Monthly Income Charts (Annual and Monthly) to help you determine the appropriate fees for our services.
Yoga Prices
- Single classes — $12
- 10 class cards — $100
- 20 class cards — $180
Class Card Expiration
- New 10 class cards will expire 3 months form the date of purchase.
- New 20 class cards will expire 6 months from date of purchase.
Extension policy for expired cards:
- If a class card has expired, the cardholder may purchase a 1 month extension.
- The cost is $1 for every class remaining on the card. (This is still cheaper than the full class price!)
- The extension is valid for 1 month from the date it's purchased.
- Only one extension is allowed per card.

* There is an additional one-time paperwork fee of $10 for your very first treatment with us.
Community Acupuncture

Third Root offers Community Acupuncture three times per week — please check our schedule for this season’s times and dates. Community Acupuncture takes place in a group setting where patients lay in comfortable recliner chairs and receive acupuncture on their arms and legs. It’s an affordable way to address your healthcare needs, while getting the chance to relax and enjoy some quiet time. Acupuncture Treatment

Massage (Tuina and/or Shiatsu)
$50-$120*
Based on the philosophies of Chinese Medicine, gentle enough for all ages and strong enough for sports injuries. Effective for aches and pains and other aggravations. Find out more »
Yoga
$12 per class
Third Root offers many yoga classes every day, suitable to various experience levels and communities, to nourish, strengthen, and relax your body and mind. Our classes include Restorative Yoga, Yoga for Your Back, Yoga for Elders, Yoga for Abundant Bodies, and Queer and Trans Yoga. Please see our yoga schedule for exact times and class offerings. Private Yoga Sessions
$50-$100 per hour for individuals or couples
This is an opportunity to go deeper into your own yoga practice, heal from injuries, and receive focused attention from one of our caring teachers.
Herbal and Nutrition Consultations

Community Health Workshops

Every Saturday afternoon is dedicated to health education from a holistic point of view. Please check our schedule to see our current offerings. We include everything from herbal medicine making to specialty dance classes to juggling and clowning as part of the picture of your health!
